Peter sedgley 


Peter Sedgley began  his career as an architect, but then in the early 60s he commenced a working relationshipwith Bridget Riley, and so became one of the leading figures in Op Art on the London art scene. He subsequently moved into kinetic art, and light and sound installations, as well as his highly regarded 'target' paintings. He has exhibited widely, with several shows  at the Redfern Gallery where he held a retrospective as recently as2009 ( Catalogue available to purchaser). He now lives and works mainly in Germany. Peter Sedgley  has works in many worldwide galleries including the Tate, British Council, Arts Council and others in Berlin, Lisbon, USA, Prague, Sweden etc
